State of the Metacosm 8/26: Project:Freqs Prequel update!
Yo, to my lovely bros, hoes, and those.
July was rough and I didn’t have enough concrete stuff to update on, so here’s a combined update!
These last two months have really been about the Project:Freqs prequel — which now has a name!
Say hello to Freq System: Breach!

To learn more, head on over to the itch placeholder page!
We’re settling into the new house (there’s a lot to do haha) and in between I’ve been plinking away at Breach.
I go into more depth on it in our first devlog, but July was mostly spent on the outline and August has been about turning that outline into prose/a first draft of the actual script. We’re currently at 15k of a projected 20k! Just have to get through the finale 😅 (I’m not writing this update to avoid working on it, how dare you.)
On a more personal note, Breach has been a calculated test of the new writing process I’ve spent the last year trial-and-erroring.
I did start therapy, though we’re early on enough that we’re still learning each other. Parts of Breach gave me real grief, but the only way out is through, and I feel like I’m finally gaining a bit more of the confidence I lost in 2025.
I’m anxious, but excited at how it’s shaping up.
And as always, we end at an Art from the Metacosm:
